Semtech Interactive, LLC was formed by Sandy Taylor & Mike Carruth in 2003. Semtech Interactive's home office is in Greenville, NC with another office in Surf City, NC. With 30+ years of combined experience in the corporate internet/intranet development arena, Sandy and Mike have provided solutions to small companies as well as large corporations. Whatever the task, whatever the scale - we can help!

Meet the team:
Both Sandy Taylor & Mike Carruth worked together building corporate intranet-based employee management systems for Convergys Corporation between 1999-2002. The systems they built helped to increase the efficiency of employee/supervisor communication in a call center environment where efficiency is absolutely critical. FedEx, XM Radio, and AT&T all had agents in Convergys call centers using systems developed by Sandy and Mike. The web applications they built assisted in making the call center teams very successful. Sandy & Mike started their own development firm (Semtech Interactive) in 2003. They now provide programming and coding work to compaines such as Streetwise Security, Salt Wood Products Inc., and many more. Their web-based Instant Messenger programs have been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times and are in use all over the world including on some popular dating sites. They have also built custom web-based Live Support applications as well as Flash-based Video Chat and Audio Chat applications.

Sandy Taylor, Concept Design/End-User Testing/Developer - Twenty year’s senior management experience with AT&T. Managed and trained International and US personnel. Extensive experience in establishing new business centers, budgeting, hiring, managing personnel and developing business policies and procedures. Strong leadership skills, with solid planning and problem solving skills.

Mike Carruth, Developer/Programmer - Mike has been developing high-end websites and web applications for 10+ years. Mike started programming on an Apple IIc when he was 10 years old (over 23 years ago!). He was quite a computer nerd as a kid back in the crazy 80's. Many years and programming languages later, he is still doing the same thing that he enjoyed so much as a kid. Utilizing the hands-on experience he has gained through the years, plus the experience gained in his MCSE studies at a Microsoft Training Center in Roanoke, VA, Mike is fully qualified and prepared to develop high-end applications and web sites. Mike's natural ability to understand code has allowed him to master many different programming languages including VB, C++, C#, DELPHI, HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, XML, SOAP, JAVASCRIPT, FLASH ACTIONSCRIPT, PHP, JAVA, PERL, and has even done Robotics Programming in the C-derived NBC & NXC languages. This level of expertise allows Semtech Interactive to provide a much higher quality of service for a much lower price.
